Our Story
Avery and Nate met at a skate shop, but both chickened out and didn't get each others' numbers. A week later, they matched on a dating app. Their first date was just meant to be thrifting, but it turned into an 8 hour outing including bowling, bubble tea, and long comfy conversations. A few months later, Avery left for college in Georgia and they elected to stay together despite the move. After dating long distance for a few months, Nate made a leap of faith and moved down to Georgia with Avery, into a tiny apartment and began their new lives together. They’ve lived with each other for 5 years. Nate proposed in London on new years eve 2023 in a gorgeous chapel.
They both graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2024. After a few more moves, they ultimately settled in Maine—fittingly, the very first place they vacationed together. They are overjoyed to begin this next chapter as newlyweds and cannot wait to celebrate their wedding day with you.

FAQ: What should I wear to the Opening Night Dinner?
The attire for the opening night dinner is white, cream, brown, or off-white smart casual attire. For example, masculine-presenting people can wear khakis and a light colored shirt, and feminine-presenting people can wear a dress or jumpsuit in a light color.
FAQ: What should I wear to the Ceremony?
The ceremony and reception are a black tie event with all black attire. Please see the below attire guide for inspiration
Here is a map of the cliff house property
You’ll notice that the parking area is fairly far from the resort, which is why we recommend getting there early.
The ceremony lawn, where the wedding ceremony will take place, is at point 19 on the far right of the map.
The entrance to the lobby is at point number 1, which is labeled lobby entrance. THIS IS WHERE ALL OF THE GUEST EXCURSIONS WILL BE TAKING PLACE.
If you plan to look around the entire resort, we recommend arriving up to an hour and a half early, as the resort is very large.
